Mumbai Indian is a franchise team representing the city of Mumbai in the Indian Premier League. This team was brought by the famous reliance industry on 24 January 2008. Sachin Tendulkar was appointed as the captain of this outfit at the start of IPL in 2008. Later in 2011 Indian spin wizard Harbajan Singh took over the captaincy. Nita Ambani, wife of richest Indian Mukesh Ambani is the Chief executive of this franchise. LOGO AND JERSEY Sudarshana Chakra, a disk like spinning weapon used by Lord Vishnu was inscribed in the logo with team name engraved in it.
