Knight Riders is a Kolkata based IPL Franchise team owned by Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan. The prince of Kolkata was the icon player for the first three seasons and the team had torrid time in the first three campaigns. Then in the fourth season Gautham Gambhir was brought from Delhi Daredevils to replace Dada. KKR won the fifth edition of Indian Premier League beating defending champions CSK at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai.
