Rungrado May Day Stadium
Located on Rungra Island, the stadium is mainly used for soccer and athletics, but it's most famous for hosting the Arirang Mass Games, a massive synchronized performance involving tens of thousands of participants. The stadium has a distinctive scalloped roof that resembles a magnolia blossom. It's a symbol of national pride in North Korea and was renovated in 2014 to modernize its facilities.
