Raul Mondesi is a Dominican former Major League Baseball player and the current mayor of San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic. He was the National League Rookie of the Year in 1994 as a right fielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He won Gold Glove Awards in 1995 and 1997 as an outfielder.
